Today's outfit

cathyn said, "You should remember that outfit!" so I told him to take a picture.
The sweater had been languishing in my closet for over 2 years as a cowl-neck sweater with an awkward length. Last night I took scissors and serger to it and made it work for me. Sometimes I forget that once I've bought the clothes they're MINE and I'm a better seamstress and designer than most of the people working at the design houses for the kinds of places I buy clothes (hey, I'm a Worth!).
The skirt I got at eShakti, I got the custom sizing because most pencil skirts are not cut for people with a 15 inch difference between waist and hips. It was still a little big so I took it in a little. Love it (although I wish it was lined or made of sturdier fabric).
Also for some reason I've lost the ability to post pictures in LJ from Firefox on PC (Windows7). Works just fine in IE. Not looking for a solution - I have a workaround - just complaining.
